Title: Love In Cold Blood
Author: Me
Pairing: Vam
Summery: I don't want to give away too much.. but basically it's a Vampire fic except it's based in the real world so basically the only thing that's really totally unrealistic is the fact that theres vampires. This fic will not be horror, it will have a few mildy scary moments but mostly its oddly romantic.
Disclaimer: I dont own anyone in the story.. um, and this never happened.

http://community.livejournal.com/__vam/3121710.html#cutid1 Soon art ended and Ville was just as enthusiastic as he had been since he had entered the class room, "Don't you just love art, Bammie?", he smiled as we left the classroom.
I nodded even though I didn't love art that much, I was never that good at it.
"I'm hungry" I sighed as my stomach growled.
"For what?", Ville asked, pulling the schedual out of his pocket once more.
"Um, food?"
He looked over at me and nodded quickly, "I know that!"
"Next class is Gym" I told him before he could unfold the paper.
His enthusiastic face turned disgusted, "Gym? I think I will drop out of that class, darling, I hate gym!"
"It's not that bad, trust me, and plus you need the credit to graduate.", I told him, I can't believe I just used that reason, I must sound like a geek, but he didn't seem to think so because he just nodded in agreement, an uneasy look still in his eyes.
"So.. what's it like in Finland?" I asked trying to change the subject as we walked down the hall and towards the gymnasium.
His expression turned blank as if deep in thought before he finally answered, "Cold."
"Oh.." I mumbled, "Do you miss it there?"
He shook his head no and sighed deeply; I hope the question didn't remind him of any bad memories judging by his expression, but how could he blame me? I didn't know.
But before my thoughts went to far, he did that creepy thing he had done twice already today and he said, "Don't worry, I'm fine."
I nodded feeling extremely uneasy but he just smiled toward me and said, "You're not what I expected, Bammie."
How could he know? He's only known me for a few hours!
"But what do I know, we'll see, won't we?", it wasn't a question. He had done it again.
I nodded once more, "What did you expect?" I asked.
He eyed me for a moment and replied, "I expected you to be more excited about Gym, I expected you to be more outgoing, but I find you quite the opposite, I expected you to be more open with your thinking instead of forcing me to guess what's on your mind and-" he stopped talking and coughed slightly, "And many other things."
"Well," I started, "I do like Gym, but not as much as I like skateboarding, I'm really good", I bragged;
He shook his head as if to tell me to continue;
"And, I am outgoing, just not at the moment", I struggled with my words, "and what are you talking about? You talk like you can read my mind or something", I grinned uneasily.
"Well, maybe I can" he said in a 'matter-of-fact' tone as we opened the door to the Gym.
As we walked in, I could tell Ville was not amused by our school's new very nice gym, he seemed to not care at all that maybe gym could be better here than it was for him in Finland, after all, our gym is the best in the state.
"You know, maybe you will like Gym here", I told him.
"I've been to many gyms, Bammie, and I've yet to find one I enjoy even the slightest." he replied in a dull tone as two blue jerseys were thrown into our arms; "Blue team over there!" the Gym teacher instructed as Ville and I moved to the side of the gym opposite of the Red team.
"I have some friends in this class", I said, "I bet you'd like them, they're really funny and cool."
"Hm.. maybe" Ville replied, eyeing the Red team.
"That's Ryan Dunn", I said pointing to the dude with orange curly hair and a slight start of a beard growing.
"Ah" Ville replied with a slight grin, "your best friend?"
I nodded, "Yeah.. and that's Raab", I said pointing to my friend who was also on the red team standing beside Ryan Dunn, "And that's DiCo."
"DiCo needs a new hair cut." Ville smiled amused at my friends wacky hair.
I laughed, "He's crazy."
Just then the teacher blew her whistle five times and started explaining the rules of the game; Whoevers team ended up with the most balls from the other teams pile at the end of five minutes won the game.
"I'll just sit out.." Ville motioned towards the bench, but before he cold walk off I grabbed onto his icecold arm, "You can't or you won't pass and you will have to take gym again!", that fact seemed to have changed his mind very quick as he walked back into his place in the lineup.
BREEEEEEEP, the teacher blew her whistle and suddenly the once pretty quiet gymnasium sounded like a stampede; People from both teams running in a million different directions; It seemed to daze Ville because his eyes wandered frantically and his hand was shaking;
"What's wrong?" I asked, getting ran into by multiple people running around me.
"Nothing" he mumbled, "It's just the air running by me so quick kind of makes me dizzy."
"Oh..?"
"Don't worry!" he said with a half smile, placing his pale hand on my shoulder, "I'll explain to you soon enough, now let's go help our Blue team win."
I agreed and we started running, grabbing balls and bringing them to our side until we heard the bell once more.
Ville closed his eyes for a moment and let out a sigh of relief, "Over.." he whispered.
"Yep" I said as the teacher re-set the balls and we played about eight more games of it, each time Ville seemed more and more temporarily dazed, and it confused me because he wasn't acting tired, he just looked confused.
When gym class had finally ended, we passed the boys locker room and the Coach approached us, "Next time you boys have to remember your gym clothes! We don't have a major dress code for gym, you just have to wear sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt, not that hard. And plus each time it's minus five points from your grades, you should know that by now Mr.Margera!".
I nodded; I did know that, I had just forgot to take my gym clothes out of my locker because I was too busy talking to Ville.
"I'm very sorry, Miss..Miss?"
"Miss Diaz" she replied.
"Ah, yes, I'm very sorry Miss Diaz, I will remember next time", Ville said with a sweet smile;
She grinned, "Forgiven, at least for today. Now get going or you'll be late for lunch or whatever it is you have!", she said as she left to the other direction.
"We have lunch next" I told Ville as we left the Gymnasium.
Ville grinned half-way and shrugged, "I'm not hungry, but I'll wait in line with you if you'd like, Bammie?"
"How can you not be hungry?" I stared, "We just had Gym class!"
He shrugged uneasily, "I don't get hungry easily.. at least not the same way you do", he mumbled.
We got to the lunchroom and Ville and I joined into the line for Chinese food, I love Chinese food.
"Smells good" I said to Ville, hoping he would change his mind and decide to eat, but he didn't, he just sniffed in quickly and nodded, "Not as good as some other things.." he replied.
The lunchlady glared at me, slowly letting the rice go onto my plate as she held her finger up in a warning, "Don't you dare think about starting another foodfight, Brandon, don't you dare!"
I gulped, feeling embarrassed because of Ville being able to hear and I shook my head 'yes'.
She was just about to hand Ville a tray aswell but he just held his hand up apologetically, "No thankyou, dear."
Dear? Did he just call the lunchlady dear?!
The lunchlady smiled and handed the tray to the next person in line.
I then entered my lunch number to pay for my food and we picked a table to sit at; Ville prefered a small two person table, and I agreed, not caring for once that my other friends couldn't join me.
"So," I said swallowing a spoonfull of rice, "what was the whole deal in the gym about?"
He bit his lip slightly and stared at me for a while as if picking out the perfect words, "I know I can trust you Bammie, I know I can, but it's hard..".
"No, it's ok, I understand, we've only known eachother for a few hours."
"But I know it Bammie, trust me. I know you wouldn't speak a word of this if I told you not to."
He was right, but how could he be so sure?
"You won't, will you?", he asked.
I shook my head 'no', "I promise."
He stared at me for another moment before he leaned in closer to me, even though I know noone could hear him talking anyway since the cafeteria is so noisy during lunch; "I can smell things.. things you can not. I can smell blood, all kinds of blood; And when people run around that fast, it drives me crazy, you know?"
Now it was I who stared as I thought about what he had just said, is he insane?!
A small smirk appeared on his lips as he continued, "I told you I'm different, but I guess you didn't expect me to be that different, now did you, Bammie?"
I shook my head 'no', "I don't get what you mean..."
His smirk disapeared and he bit his lip once more for a moment before replying, "You promised Bam that you would not tell this to anyone- So you better not, because if you do I might have to do something I'll regret, and I promise you, I will find out of you tell.", he said as he held his finger out toward me lightly to make the words that more promising.
I nodded, "I promise", my voice cracked slightly.
"Tell me, Bammie, have you ever seem the movie Dracula?"
"Yes.."
"I'm like him..only different. Unlike him, I don't sleep in a coffin, I can be out in the sunlight- even though I'd much rather prefer the darkness-. But like him I can do many things..And like him, I drink blood, but don't worry, I wouldn't ever so much as hurt you, Bammie."
My expression of shock must have amused him because a smile played on his lips once more and he repeated the words "You promised."
Just then the bell rung and Ville stood up, holding his hand out for me to grab to stand up aswell;
He smiled at me as if nothing had just happened and whispered, "Guess what?" in a playful tone.
"What?" I asked, slightly afraid of what he might say;
"I forgot to tell you the whole deal that comes with knowing that oh so private information."
"What?" I repeated.
"You have to let me.. suck your blood"
My eyes shot open and I felt a scream would escape my throat, but I covered my mouth with my hands to stop it;
His eyes too looked surprised as he put his hands on my shoulders and repeated "I was just kidding!" three times.
Finally I calmed down and my face turned bloodred, "I knew that."
He sighed with a smile and patted my back with his hand as we continued walking down the hall to our last class, "Maybe later."
Maybe that Happy Bunny sticker I saw in a shop once was right when it said something like, 'Cute but Phyco'. I needed to get Ville one of those sometime. But something in me keeps thinking about how sincere he sounded about the whole Dracula thing.
But is there really such thing as vampires?
