Of corse, to you, saying I forgave you was simply not enough, you had to get rid of her for good. It was a good idea, but the result was not what you wanted.

I woke up, my back aching from where I had been lying on the couch all night. Ville’s arms were draped around my waist, holding me close to his body. As I moved, his hands closed down, trapping me where I was, next to him. Spinning around, I planted a kiss on his soft lips, his hands moving to trace where I had just been. Leaving Ville to dream about me, I slipped off the couch and ran and got dressed. I didn’t know where she would be, but I had to find her. If I was quick enough I would be back before Ville even awoke.

Sprinting out of the house, I caught sight of a bumper bar poking out from the edge of my driveway. Silently, I ran down the drive, making sure I was out of sight from the car. I poked my head out from around the last tree on my drive and saw the bright red hummer parked on the side of the street. I edged around the car until I was at the passenger door. Closing my fist, I thumped the window. I heard the car doors unlocking and I pulled open the door. I was greeted by a smiling Courtney with her hair everywhere.
“Bammie,” she started, patting the seat beside her.
“Don’t even start bitch,” I spat back, staying where I was. “I want you to leave Ville and me alone. I don’t love you and I don’t want you. I have Ville now and I love him.” She just laughed at me.
“You really want me to believe that? He disappears for 3 days and you don’t even last 24 hours without him before your back in my pants. I very much doubt Bammie that love the man.” I hated her stupid ugly face so much. I had the strongest urge to reach inside the can and rip it off her head.
“I won’t go to the cops; you can have the car, just leave me and Ville alone ok?” She seemed to think about this for a few moments before answering.
“Bammie, if I can’t have you, no-one can. And I am 100% serious about that!” With that, she leaned over and shut the car door, speeding out of sight.

--

I awoke with a start, the front door closing behind Bam. I knew he had gone to find her, but I didn’t know why. I headed towards the kitchen to grab myself some coffee, I really needed to think. Obviously I suddenly wasn’t good enough for Bam anymore, everything he had said to me last night, how I had forgiven him, didn’t matter to him. I was doing it again, cursing the only man I truly have loved for breathing. Disregarding the fresh coffee, I moved towards the pantry, searching the bottom shelf for the bottle of Vodka I knew belonged there. I managed to find the bottle, lying on the floor beside the couch from where I had left it the night before. I downed its contents in one gulp, loving the feeling of relief and warmth it brought to my body.

I turned and came face to face with Bam, who was headed towards me with his arms outstretched. For a second I thought he was going to hit me, instead merely pulling me into a hug.
“She’s gone!” He laughed, tears spilling from his eyes. “Oh Ville she’s gone!”
“What did you do??” I was concerned, short from murder I had no idea how Bam could be sure she was gone. I pulled back, inspecting him for any traces of blood.
“I told her to fuck the hell off and she just left.” His smile lit up the room.
“She left, just like that? She didn’t fight?” his smile faded, for only a second. “What did she say?”
“Well, she kinda said that if she couldn’t have me, no-one could, but that’s not important, what’s important is that you and I can be together in peace.” I was stunned; Bam was so light hearted when Courtney had clearly not ended her quest to take him away from me. I simply smiled, letting myself be hugged by Bam. He scooped me up in his arms and carried my upstairs; his every intention was very dishonourable. With a giggle, he placed me down on our bed, pulling off my clothes as well as his own. For the first time in what felt like years, we were fully together again, a writhing mass of tangled limbs and messy bed sheets. We created friction that we had never felt before, a new passion in Bam that made me scream as he filled my insides with his seeds, and cry his name as I too came all over his body.
~*~
Everything was almost perfect again, I had you and she was gone. I should have known it wouldn’t stay that way for long.
