So, I'm going to try and update my journal more often.  I've been so lazy lately!

This weekend was low-key.  I went out for drinks on Friday with some friends and stayed in on Saturday.  Daryl was DJing a buck'n'doe for some people I didn't know well.  He prefers if I stay home when he's working the music anyhow.

I had a nice Sunday today.

I woke up early and spent three hours doing housework. I hate housework and I have to be in the right mood to do it.  I cranked up some grunge music and the time flew by.  It feels really nice to have a clean house.

I found three missing items which were misplaced in my house:

Yesterday we went for a pleasant morning walk around Macau. We visited a Buddist temple dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Afterwards we went to a pretty park took a cable car ride to the top of a huge hill. The park at the top had the oldest lighthouse in China and a well preserved fort with great views of the city. Yesterday I had an incredible experience at the Elephant Sanctuary. It is located about 2 hours outside KL. Most tourists go on a bus tour that lasts only two hours at the sanctuary. Daryl and were there from 9am to 6pm ( Read more... )
