A nice Sunday
I had a nice Sunday today.
I woke up early and spent three hours doing housework. I hate housework and I have to be in the right mood to do it. I cranked up some grunge music and the time flew by. It feels really nice to have a clean house.
I found three missing items which were misplaced in my house:
1. my paycheck that disappeared 10 days ago (it was under my treadmill)
2. my green high heels for Ad Astra
3 my BSG dogtags for the finale next week
This afternoon I had a yummy green tea smoothie, bought sewing supplies, checked out a few travel books at the library and stocked up on essentials at the drug store.
I also shopped at my favourite organic food centre. They have a "Healthy Butcher" inside and we BBQed a delicious ribeye steak for dinner. Organic, hormone-free meat does taste better!
I watched a Frances McDormand movie this evening called "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day". It is a fabulous light romantic comedy set in 1940s London. Now I'm watching "Amazing Race".
This upcoming week is super busy for me.
Tuesday: St. Pat's Day - drinking green beer with friends
Wednesday: seeing Brit Brit in concert
Friday: BSG finale screening at Fox Theatre
Saturday - crying all day because BSG has ended
