Well, this year Friday the 13th included a trip to the E.R. My kid was using a utility knife to cut wires while installing a car stereo. The two operative words in that sentence are ‘kid’ and ‘knife.’ He cut a gash in his palm requiring 6 staples. Between that blood loss and donating blood Thursday, the boy was looking a mite pasty. I just received a phone call and almost hung up because no one was speaking. Then I heard Darth Vader’s voice saying, “You don’t know the power of the Dark Side.” Hee! It was my 7-year old nephew’s first prank call. It’s a proud day.
