I just received a phone call and almost hung up because no one was speaking. Then I heard Darth Vader’s voice saying, “You don’t know the power of the Dark Side.” Hee! It was my 7-year old nephew’s first prank call. It’s a proud day.

As for the "omniscience", seems like the only way they'll learn is to have the lightbulb go off in their own heads, instead of us trying to turn it on for them.
Poor boo. It's a life lesson it is.
Here, give him some chocolate... :(
And, as for Family Guy, son #1 (who's 14) tries to sneakily watch it, cause he thinks we won't approve. Heh. Little does he know that he's so socially behind the times, that I'm hoping he picks some things up from the show! Yes, bad parent, I am.

“Don’t complain about the drama if you’re going to keep showing up for the performance.”
God, I need to take that to heart. :)
The foccacia and biscotti recipes I tried in The Low Carb Comfort Food Cookbook have thrilled me beyond belief. Next, I’m trying the recipe for Sublime Truffles. Not just truffles, but sublime ones. Oh, My! :)
That sounds yum-yum!!! I'm going to look that book up on Amazon and order it myself...or maybe they have it at B and N? I still have around $7 left on my gift card. I need to start baking again. I have forsaken teh loverly baking in the past month, and I need to get back to the happy place.
Good joke--am planning to tell it to Mr. Breakfast when he gets up.

I liked your paragraph on omniscience and drama tolerance.
