Just finished my last real paper in spanish.  All I have left is a four page paper on the world cup for my joke of a spanish class.  I have a little over 48 hours til I'm on a plane to Peru with my grandmother, off to explore Incan ruins and partake in some sort of sun festival in Cuzco.  I fly back to BA on June 30, have about 9 hours to get my ( Read more... )

One more thing to add to the list of things I have discovered that I hate while being in Buenos Aires:  I hate taking care of wasted people that I have no respect for.  This girl that goes to Cornell and thus shall remain unnamed is an alcoholic with insecurity issues that she takes out on her Incredibly Nice But Very Sensitive boyfriend here.  She ( Read more... )

BUENOS AIRES IS SO BORING

no one ever told me that study abroad was for partying and watching tv.  my advice: don't do it.  if you want an "adventure," join the peace corps when you graduate.  if you want to "really learn something about yourself," spend a few months at a Buddhist retreat instead.

So I'm escaping the Ithaca winter for summer in Argentina on Saturday.
