self-discovery can be surprising

Hmm. I've had a very similar self-discovery after being put in charge of a project on campus that I'd assumed was exactly what I wanted to be doing with my life only not as a college student. Now I want to be a yoga teacher. Who knew?

i've had one of those discoveries recently. giving up the urge to be a successful musician has turned out to be relatively painless when i think of the young children i will teach orchestra to and the children i will have and the happy life that will come right along with all of that...i guess feminism is the right to choose, eh?

maybe i can be a middle school teacher in the same town as you and we can raise our adorable babies together! you can teach mine how to make beautiful music, and we'll show them how to plant vegetables together.
