Neither of them said anything as they moved through the woods. Through a break in the trees, Wyatt could see that the second sun had finally risen. He stopped and turned to Adora, giving a nod toward Jeb, who was still asleep against Wyatt's uninjured shoulder. Adora nodded and stepped closer, placing a hand on Jeb's back.
Jeb stirred and looked between his parents. "Are we there yet?" he asked with a wince. Wyatt smiled and leaned forward enough to set Jeb down on the ground. As Jeb moved off to pick up a stick, Adora put a hand on Wyatt's shoulder.
"I'm fine," Wyatt sighed. "We should keep moving." Adora dropped her hand into his and they walked together. It was about an hour later that they reached the treeline and saw where Ben had directed them.
There, in the hollow, sat a small cabin, next to a pond.
