Az was hanging up freshly-laundered sheets, clipping them to the line with the clothespins hooked on her pockets. "Hey, sis." Her eyes went wide and Az pushed the sheet to one side to find DG standing on the other side of the clothesline.
"Don't freak out!" DG whispered loudly, leaning to one side to see if she could see Mom or Popsicle.
"Deeg?!" Az turned as well, then looked back to DG. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see how you were doing. I see you've mastered laundry," she added, fingering the sheet.
"How did you get here?"
