Growing up I had a speech impediment. I still do, occasionally; my Rs come out as AHs or Ws, what my mother generously called a Boston accent. My Uncle Dennis passed away on Easter after a long battle with several mean and varied forms of cancer. What's the protocol for people you don't particularly care about friending you on Facebook? Like high school people you hardly knew or mildly disliked? Are the rules different if they have friends you *are* interested in but if you add them and not the original person it's gonna be obvious?
