Merry Christmas everyone!

Yesterday I undertook the duty of baby-sitting Ian while my dad and Debra did their Christmas shopping at the last minute ran errands in town. The Walkers' Christmas party last night was wonderful. Spent the whole day in the kitchen baking, cleaning, and being intermittently cuddled by Catherine. My parents had a great time eating clam chowder and listening to Catherine's Uncle Tom play the pennywhistle. Ian had lots of sugar, played StepMania, and got to poke the fire. Today was Ian's ninth birthday. I made a chocolate cake and Debra frosted it in blue. My family is going out to dinner tonight! Whoo! This is a big deal, because since he quit his job my dad has been all about cooking, and we never go out to eat. Today was Dad and Debra's one-month wedding anniversary. Yay. Dad surprised Debra with a dozen roses when he went to pick her up at school. Yesterday was a good day, despite the fact that I woke up at seven a.m. with an excruciating headache. Dad heard my moanings and shoved some allergy medicine and a glass of water at me. I fell back asleep I don't know how much later and woke at eleven without a trace of pain.
