Friday, January 1st

My last day in Schenectady for the next two months was spent with Matt. We had a lot to do before physically moving and only a couple days to do it all, so we were no longer waiting on anyone else, whether it be our landlady or Jess or whomever. I forgot to mention, and this really goes to show what is normal and what is not to this city's residents, that when Kara and I got off the bus from Albany and walked back to my apartment, there were cops everywhere. We saw one positioned at the corner of a block away. I screamed, "A COP! EWW!" Another one showed up right behind him at the corner. ( Read more... )
