"Brincar el charco" is a Puerto Rican expression that literally translates as "jumping the puddle". I'm out of Bloomington for now.  To those of you who visited me/spent time with me while I was there: thank you very much.  It's good to say that I have carved a little niche for myself in your hearts.  Places like Tucson and Bloomington mean very little to me other than the people in them.

Well, a few words now that I'm in Indiana...

Couple of highlights in my life:
* Jury duty a week ago- a guy younger than myself was in for a DUI; the prosecution was weak, the defense was horrible, and the jury didn't have the slightest clue on how to be impartial.  I said fuck it and hung the jury, actually.  This has been in my head all this time ( Read more... )

-Met a husky called Alice through Fetlife.  We met IRL and she seems super cool.  Hopefully we'll be able to hang out when I get back in town.
