Booze, liquor, beer, etc.  No nutrition label.  I want to know how many calories are in it.  It seems cheaty that they can get out of nutrition labels.  It goes in our body, shouldn't we know what's in it?

I will end up reading some of the most interesting (and sometimes unlikely) things.

How the thought to even look up the use of the middle finger on Wikipedia evades me but I looked.  Despite not using it myself.  Go figure.

Whaling is still done these days.  So, what are whales used for?  The oil that was rendered from their bodies was replaced with petroleum (so oil saved the whale!) but is there any real need to hunt whales?

Gotta be honest but Earth Hour would make almost no difference to me.  Turn off all non-essential lights?  These people don't know how I live.  My electric bill for the last month was less than $25.  The previous month was a lot more because of cold fronts and I needed the heat.  This time of the year?  My electric usage is low.  I see where the ( Read more... )

Seriously, read up on Theda Bara.  There are photos on Wikipedia proving that she wore some pretty risque stuff for her movies.  Then the Hays Code went into effect in the 1930s and stopped that sort of movies until the creation of the movie rating system.

I cannot say how much it amuses me that the section on "Objectivism" in Wikipedia where the "The neutrality and factual accuracy of this article are disputed."  It seems that someone was not objective in their writing of it.  ^_^
