Wow...even more than 90 yrs later, Theda Bara's outfits are still risque
Seriously, read up on Theda Bara. There are photos on Wikipedia proving that she wore some pretty risque stuff for her movies. Then the Hays Code went into effect in the 1930s and stopped that sort of movies until the creation of the movie rating system.
