We've been married a month now.  School is taking up far too much of my time right now to write a proper entry with all the gory deets.  Damn you, Microbiology!!!

Spent the long weekend in Baja with Chris, Halbe & Dev, and Rose & Spencer in a 3-bedroom house right on the beach.  It was frickin' awesome!  We drank a fair amount of tequila, rum, and Corona, soaked up a lot of sun (some of us a little TOO much sun), and generally enjoyed relaxing on the beach for three days.  (pics when we get them downloaded ( Read more... )

Took the LA Metro for the first time last night, sort of a dry-run to see how long it will take me to get to school on Monday and Wednesday nights.  Approximately 15 minutes to walk to the MTA station at Hollywood & Highland, 8-minute ride to school, and another 10 minutes or so to walk to my class.  33 minutes?  Beats almost an hour by car PLUS ( Read more... )
