After dancing at the Sacred Bull Goes Camping festival last year, us Sirenz had been invited back to dance at the Sacred Bull 24 Hour Extravaganza party over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The weekend was great. Friday night Ian (uvjunkie) and I celebrated my getting a new job. We went out to the Raj Bari on Hotwells Road to try it out. The last week has been very good indeed.

The WeekendThe weekend was a bit of a non-event really, we spent most of it sorting out the house & doing some DIY. We have now found the tiles we want in the kitchen and the flooring. The weekend was a good 'un. Yes indeedy!

Thursday evening was lovely! Michelle (cyberspikes), Emma (psilobabe) and Heather came over in the early evening for a Sirenz meeting which was lovely.

Andy turned up and us girls and Ian (uvjunkie) all got ready to head out to Bad By Design at Timbuk2. It is a really lovely and intimate psy-trance night that is put on about once ( Read more... )

I'm still trying to sort through the photos of Coombefest so that I can post some up for you all to see, but we managed to take around 580 photos during the weekend (most of which are utter poo!) so it is taking some time!

The news about the bombing in London is awful - Ian (uvjunkie) is safe as he is quite far out of central London. I was rather worried when I heard the news. I'm still a worried about him as he is on courses in Heathrow, and is due to be getting the train back to Bristol tomorrow ( Read more... )

Last week was good. During the week, each evening after work I chatted to Pete for a while which was very nice, as I had been so busy the couple of weeks before that I'd barely had time to chat much :(
