It's been a good Christmas. Flew out to Kansas on the 19th to be with the in-laws, and to be reunited with Brett. He's been here since mid-November, helping out his mom while she's had some medical setbacks. She's doing much better now, and we'll be flying home on Sunday. My gramma died today. Well, my stepmom's mom, but our family is close enough that I thought of her as Gramma Ruth. It's a good thing, really... She'd fought a long and difficult battle with cancer, and had just been hanging on for the last couple months. I think she just missed her husband so much that she wanted to go home and be with him. My mom takes such good care of me. :) When she heard my back was out, she gave me some of her painkillers (we have the same prescription for hydrocodone), and she gave me a CD.

Brett and I finally bought tickets and booked a hotel for our trip to DC. Well, Bethesda really, but we're flying in to DC. Today has been a very good day. Sold and delivered a copier first thing this morning, sold a color desktop copier right before lunch, got the accessories in for a big beefy fax so we can finish configuring that and deliver it tomorrow. This weekend was very good for me. Had a great time relaxing, leveled a bunch on FFXI, had some fun times, cuddled with rpgaymer while watching Stargate, and actually got to see my sister and "The Boys" at my dad's house.
