Well today was better. ^_^ Had a couple nice chats with Andrea today at work, had to skip lunch but got an ice cream cone later... and that was my day. I can't remember much more cause it was pretty crazy again.
I've been reading through Illusions again, and I came across a passage that never really caught my eye until now.
The bond
that links your true family
is not one of blood, but
of respect and joy in
each other's life.
Rarely do members
of one family grow up
under the same
roof.
As I go through the trials of friends and family freaking out over my coming out, those words have taken on new significance for me. You who have stood by my side, or even in front of me to break the waves, I really love you like family. Some who I thought would stick with me have turned their backs, and some who I had no hope for have stepped up to help my along this road. So, thanks. Thanks for loving me, for accepting me, and for not giving up on me (or letting me give up on myself!) Love ya much! Peace and shinees ^_^
