Black Mage at lv. 80, full XP buffer, capped Elemental Magic skill, Dark Magic almost capped. Life, it is good.

Managed to ding BLM Lv. 80 last night, in a synced manaburn in Xarc_S. It was a rough party; our puller was inexperienced at pulling, and got ufo aggro probably 8 or 10 times. Fun times last night. We farmed for 90 minutes in Abyssea, getting lots of XP and cruor. We also killed a Hippogryph NM and got a nice cape for fiorenzo_rdm. I finally collected enough cruor to get my Teal Saio! I immediately put it on and started testing. Surprisingly, I saw a slight increase in my nukes, testing on TW mobs. So I finally bought A Shantotto Ascension for FFXI, and I'm doing the starter quests. I'm told to make an Enfeebling Kit of Poison. So I spend half a day farming up all the materials, have Hinoken help me with the alchemy synths, and finish synthing up the kit. After playing a lot of Campaign all day, we decided to do another ENM run for a Hagun for Hinoken. This run went a lot rougher than past runs, and by the time we got Tuchulcha down to about 10% everybody but Verona and me were KOd. Had a lot of fun last night on FFXI. Our Limbus group did Temenos West and cleared. Got lots of AF+1 items and enough coins that most people got 7, all in all a nice haul.

Afterward, rpgaymer, zailus and I went to Valley of Sorrows to try augmenting some equipment. The fight was pretty easy, the first time he popped he was like 95% resistant to all elemental ( Read more... )

Last night was very fun. We cleared Brunhilde's Chamber in Einherjar, and rpgaymer finally collected enough ichor to get his Omega Ring. I got my Omega a few weeks ago, and have noticed a difference with the added +Magic Accuracy.
