Does Standing in the rain for 2 hours sound appealing?
No It does not.
I therefore made an "executive" decision this afternoon that my Scouts would be denied a chance to play hide and seek on a large common in the dark.

Well I had a busy one.

Saturday was a trip to the hairdressers..not sure I like the haircut, but I didn't go to my usual hairdressers. So I might find myself back there sometime soon-ish. Scouts - Summercamp:

The 1st scout camp i have run and therefore quite stressful...Its not as easy as you think you know!

On saturday 28th July we went from Upton-Under-Severn, to Oxford -under-Thames :o)
 and took 5 scouts to Youlbury Scout Activity Centre  for a week.  These 5 scouts had not been on a camp for more than 2 nights ( Read more... )

The weather for the District Centenary camp is not looking good...it looks to be another weekend of wet scout camping.
This is the last scout camp i have before the week long Summer camp in July. SO if it rains this weekend It won't rain on camp in July, In theory...
