Be Prepared
Is the Scouts Motto.
I am apparently not.
this evening I had planned a wide game, this wide game was supposed to be happening on what are locally known as 'the old hills' the only hill that seems to be here is more of a ridge, butt that's beside the point. Anyway, we've had reasonable weather here for a little while until the last day or so and I didn't think about making alternative plans, I was hoping it wouldn't rain today unfortunatly it the weather gods did not heed me and it did, meaning I had to cancel scouts.
Today I have leant that 'Be prepared' applies just as much to leaders as it does to scouts :)
On the bright side, I got to sit at home in the warm rather than stand out in the cold.
