So this evening was an evening of Patrol Leader Activities, they did very well, kept the rest of the scouts amused and active. They also discovered how difficult it actually is to wrangle twenty-odd scouts into doing what you want them to.... this ,however, did not put them off nor did it put of the Assistant Patrol Leaders, who want to organise a night too.
Thats at least 2 weeks of next term sorted.
The only downer was that the scouts got a fit of the giggles in the middle of the flag down ceremony and I had to shout sternly at tme, and threaten them with a 1 week ban from scouts should they do it *at all* in either of the ceremonies in the future. I hate having to threaten kids like that, but I think they needed it, we shall see next week...
