Sometime, which is probably not tonight, I will put up before and after pictures, but I just wanted to note that a year ago, I was in breast reduction surgery, and today, I am not.

Also, I got a bra! This is obviously the appropriate gift for a breastaversary.

My birthday and Christmas presents were combined into a big shopping trip with my mom. We waited until I was back in underwires, because it would be discouragaing to buy clothes for the wrong configuration.

So, it's been 2 months since I got three pounds lopped off my breasts, and I am now offcially allowed into underwire bras. So I trotted off to Nordstrom (I suppose it is technically possible to get fitted somewhere else, but they are usually pretty good). I haven't had any painkiller today. I got up, went to work in my jammies, puttered around.

It wasn't until after I was a little ouchie re-doing my dressings after a shower that I realized it was 13 hours since I'd had any painkillers. Wow. I really am healing, and the bus really is doing me in.

Yesterday, I managed to get all 10 documents outh the door. 3 release notes, 4 getting started guides, 2 admin guides, 1 user guide. I haven't added up the pagecount yet, but it is smaller than it was by my mighty works, and yet, still a lot. Ta-da ( Read more... )

I'm really not ready to come off the vicodin yet. There is a quality to the pain that is 90% addressed by aleve, but that 10% is very distracting. Good to know ( Read more... )

I am having a hell of a time getting to sleep lately. It's the pain, and the drugs, and whatever else, but I am Not Enjoying It.
