Does anyone know when the Creative Writing Gala is on this year?

This publishing plan is like pulling teeth.  I know what I want to do with my life (well, sort of), why can't I just tell my tutor face-to-face, rather than having to write it all down?  I mean, I know I'm a writer, but it would just make things much easier.  Talking about myself is okay, writing about myself seems a bit too vain.  It doesn't help ( Read more... )

- Finishing my zine and in some respects, despising it
- Handing in my zine and missing it already, like a lost lover

• I had my hair cut today.  Really short.  Think Natalie Portman's hair now it's grown out a bit.  
• I bought a nice red lipstick.
• Discovered Girl, Interrupted in Kmart for $10.  Hurrah!
• Finally shaved legs after god knows how long.
• Went through some books for Intro to Lit essay.

Current goals:
- edit fashion essay
- actually start work on zine
- do something with hair, because in its current state it's really pissing me off
- get ears pierced, though perhaps in the hols, when I have more time
- get a pet, preferably a hamster. Though, question, can you get hamsters in Brisbane/Qld?

EDIT:  Oh no!  Oh god that's so depressing

Last night I went to Tomato Brothers with the uni gang.  Much fun.  I esp. liked the New Orleans pizza.

Aims for next two days: to actually study for exam and not keep putting it off, edit Fashion essay, possibly start on other pending assignments.  Also: shop for tinted moisturiser.  Have only recently heard about this miracle cream, which blends ( Read more... )
