I would like to read more on sex-positive feminism, but so far I'm coming up with very little.* Does anyone have any reading recommendations? I would prefer books, but articles are good as well.

Bookfest was awesome! Although there was a freaky moment when a man beside me in the Literature section grabbed his crotch, rubbed really hard for at least 20 seconds, then touched a book directly in front of me without picking it up, then moved on to another section. 0.o

I have decided I would like to join a book group - probably focussed mostly on literature and classics, perhaps delving into a bit of genre. Do you know of or are part of one? I know most bookshops seem to have a book group, but I wasn't too sure what they'd be like. Any experiences or recommendations? :)

The BBC believes most people will have only read 6 books from this list.

Yesterday I applied for my tafe Editing course through QTAC.  The tafe people said they'd give me an alternate way to apply, but because they're on holidays they didn't get back to me about it.  All QTAC applications were due yesterday at 4:30 (I finished mine at 2:30) unless I wanted to pay a late fee on top of the $44 application fee O.o  I ( Read more... )
