Today we headed off to Sharjah, our neighbor emirate to the north, because my aunt had thrown a sort of housewarming-cum-iftar party.

My little cousin Insia took to calling me a 'Catholic'... probably because I go to a Catholic school.

I watched that program on National Geographic about the Gospel according to Judas today. It was brilliant.

The poor codex that contained the gnostic Gospel was rotting in a safety deposit box of a bank in New York for sixteen years! By then, of course, the papyrus pages had crumbled to tiny bits numbering more than a thousand ( Read more... )
