I'm back in Newcastle from Dubai. I landed in Heathrow early on Monday morning on a runway lined with snow and waited at the airport for a couple of hours before getting on the plane to Newcastle. Today we sort of had our first practice for our performance in the International Grand Festival (IGF) next year. Last year we had some merry tunes like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. None of that this year. I was checking my inbox yesterday when I noticed an e-mail from the Medical Student Office saying they needed people to do tours of the medical school for the interviewees (who may be offered a place in medicine for next year). I think I'm a poor time manager, I spend a lot more time worrying about doing something than actually doing it in one go.
