 Yesterday

We weren't able to catch the express 166 so we took the other one.
We took the 'W' train to 5th Ave & 59th Street, to walk into the park.
We were looking for & found the Statue of Balto (the sled dog; see cartoon Balto).
We then went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I went to the Medieval Faire on Saturaday. 
It was Pirate Day.
I got a large number of compliments on my costume =).
I bought a pirate costume kit that consisted of a dark navy skirt & vest w/a red bandanna & sash.
I also bought at Ward's Costume Shop some red & black tights & a black pirate hat.
I didn't wear the sash.

Its very weird.  I've never really cared about my age, but for some reason I didn't like the idea of being 20. I'm over this feeling now (kinda), but it was strong on my birthday & the days before it. There has been several changes to my trip to Africa.  Early this week we were just about finished with everything & were looking for flights to get us to Africa, around Africa & back, when we found that it put us over our budget.  Small flights like between youngstown & Cleveland or Detroit that cost only around $100 per person here cost $400 per ( Read more... )

I went to Cirque D'Or  today.  Its a circus/performance with no animals.  This is the 2nd time I've seen it, last time was at the playhouse (the real upscale one in the city part of Youngstown).  It was entertaining. Wow. I haven't posted in awhile.

The semester is over tomorrow. All I have to do is go to class & turn something in then I can leave. I had a final on Monday in my Geography of US and Canada class. I was 10min late to my English Writing 2 class today. I forgot about the geography current event articles that I had to turn in for my next class. Geography of the US & Canada. Today, was tiring.

1st:          I woke up to Sassy jumping onto my bed; this is the best way to be woken up in my opinion =). She was probably just let inside. She usually gets let out by my parents when they go to work at about 6-7am.
