Hi Ppl Long time no see
Haven't posted or been on LJ at all for quite a while now, so I decided I had to check up on everything & post. Its not that I haven't had time or haven't had anything to post about either; I've just been extremely lazy.
It all started after spring semester ended; about a week afterwards I think. My sleeping schedule became worse & worse until I was staying up ALL night & sleeping ALL day. Eventually after awhile of this my parents got on me about it and how I should find some volunteer work or something to get some experience for my career. So I started trying to fall asleep earlier, but that didn't work very well since I had slept all day. I tried staying up all day so that I could sleep at night. That didn't work very well since its summer meaning my basement (where my room is for anyone who doesn't know) is like an icebox; so I'm cold & I'm tired w/nothing to do & a nice warm bed not 2 ft away from where I seat trying to occupy myself at the computer. I lay down thinking "Oh I'm not going to fall asleep just gonna get cozy"
I think the main reason for the screw up of my sleeping schedule is PiratesOnline. I've become addicted which became even worse after I decided to get the unlimited access b/c the free basic access doesn't allow you to buy certain things like jewellery, etc as well as limiting the quests you can do. So now I have good reason to be addicted I paying for it =). I've got 3 pirates: Shana, Heatfist Ace & Kushina. Shana's name was supposed to be Kushina Namikaze (Naruto Uzumaki's {from the anime: Naruto} mother), but the name wasn't accepted. You see you get the choice of picking from 3 lists to create a 1st & last name like this: Marie Ice dagger, which would be: Marie Icedagger - or to submit a name. If you submit one you are given a temporary name until the 1 you submitted is approved. I waited for awhile for it to be approved & ended up making my 2nd pirate Heatfist Ace (from: One Piece). When his name was approved & my 1st one still hadn't I checked the website for rules on naming. I found that I couldn't use my login name for the website as my pirates name & sent them a message about changing the name b/c I didn't want to be called the temporary name they gave me: buccaneer. That wasn't possible. So I created a character as close in look as I could which was impossible but I think I did a good job for getting as close as I did. & tried to name it Kushina Uzumaki but they didn't allow character names either, but they updated the game & it was now possible to submit or pick a new name instead of being stuck w/the temporary one they gave you. So she (pirate #3) is now Kushina & a little later I was able to rename pirate #1 (temporary name: buccaneer) to Shana (from the anime: Shana of the burning eyes). Since then Kushina has been welcomed into the guild 'Wicked Glitches' which is hilarious since everyone has problems staying on the game w/o DCing. I'm currenlty playing w/my pirate Heatfist Ace primarily cause I want to buy a War Galleon, but its pretty expensive & I don't have 1/2 the gold I need yet. A little while ago I bought an expensive shirt for him, its velvet XD. I seen it & tried it on him & it looks so nice ...& velvety. =) I had to have it, I couldn't stop myself. But it wasn't nearly as expensive as the ship will be.
I just found out that there is an One Piece rpg, I think its an MMO but I haven't looked into it. I'm trying to stay away from it b/c I really want to play & I love One Piece. I don't want to get addicted to it as well. In any case what I did see of it is that it does't have very good graphics. Nowhere near as good as PiratesOnline, where you can see the velvety fabric so nicely that you can almost feel it. XD
I'm finally getting my passport book. It's payed for I'm just waiting for it to get here! Africa's going to be awesome! I'm going to get to see the Ngorongoro crater which has the largest concentration of predators in the world & Victoria Falls. We're going to see the Gorillas & we also want to track Chimps but we're not entirely sure I we can yet. I haven't gotten my shots yet though.
Does anyone have VeohTV? I've had it for about 2-3 weeks now. I really like it. I used to have tons of vids in my faves on youtube, but w/veohTV i just use its thing that shows up on the toolbar to download the ones I like from youtube & other places onto veohTV, & save it there so I don't have to get online or sign in anywhere to see them. Its also made it a lot easier to find anime episodes I want to watch.
I need to get new antivirus thing. My comp says that its below average efficiency (the antivirus thing not my computer itself) & that I need a new 1. It seems to be working just fine though. There really isn't any difference than how its always been. I have McAfee (sp?; that doesn't look right), anyone find something better? ...that isn't expensive.
