I heard two songs at a hip and happening coffee shop, and I did ask the guy who did these songs, but for one of them he wasn't sure, and said three different things, and the second, I just don't remember.
Both songs were really fun/kind of weird.. dance-able..electronic music, one (or both) being rap, perhaps? I know both songs had interesting things going on with background voices, like one started out with some crazy harmony with a bunch of voices singing high-ish notes..a few times.. and the other song had some other thing going on with weird voice things happening.
The guy said the first song, with the high-..voice..harmonies at the beginning (I don't think there was much else going on at that point in the song yet - like no beats or other instruments or whatever), was by... a band/artist/whatever called Yessir? Yezzir? Yeezer? Yeeser? Yes Sir? I think he said all of those things, maybe more - it seemed like he wasn't sure how to pronounce it. It also didn't help that I couldn't even hear him that well.
The second song was by a group called something like Eagle Federation, Eagle Confederation, Eagle...Nation, Eagle ...something. Some "serious" noun probably ending with "-ation", that when combined with "Eagle," evidently was amusing enough to me that I laughed when I heard the name. Wow I'm tired. This is really incoherent, but hopefully I made some sense. :\
