I'm going to do a 10K at the end of February. Running is... enjoyable. Whoa. It requires proper stretching beforehand, ambient air temperature optimal for effective vasodilation, sunset/twilight, dance music, and really loud KMFDM when dance music isn't enough. Yes, I am the Transit Queen for taking Metrolink to the game last night in Anaheim, then taking Amtrak back to Union Station and the MetroRail home. Sadly this plan did mean leaving 10 minutes into the third period, but everyone had scored all they were gonna score by that time so I apparently didn't miss much. After two years of my writing at least 300 words every single day, the anti_afflatus discipline experiment has concluded. Thank you for reading.

Since October 12, 2005, I have been writing at least 300 words every single day. Before that, I had been writing on and off since December 2004.

Multiplying it out, one year yields 109,500 words minimum. The true number is probably closer to 150,000.

That's something.

I am slowly catching up on my reading for Contorts (Contracts + Torts... in one!). I do not think I am taking notes correctly. Once I learn how to outline, I will start doing so, perhaps later this week or next.

I am pleased with what I wrote tonight. It has a cadence to it that I like.
