The UW Law School commencement ceremony for the Class of 2009 is this Sunday at 2:30 PM Pacific. It's at Meany Hall on the UW campus. Back from spending a week in France. I think I've slept about seven hours since I got up on Friday, and as far as my body is concerned it's late Sunday night. So I'm incoherent and my eyeballs feel like I'm R.P. McMurphy post-lobotomy. Uh. It was a good week. Too much to talk about, but I'll try.

In other news, two classes down, two more final exams to go before I am DONE WITH LAW SCHOOL FOREVER*. One of the exams is 10 hours from now. I think I've spent about the timespan of a feature-length film studying for it. I did about the same for the exam I took today. Did I mention I'm playing Goneril in a production of King Lear that my Wills, Trusts, and Estates class is putting on?

We're not actually acting, just reading from the scripts. Or acting despite reading, I guess. I bat my eyelashes and smile a lot.

We're doing a Western theme.

Only a B+ in Admin Law, which is curious since I felt like Evidence was harder. With the B I knew I'd get in Antitrust for skipping the final exam, I have a "straight" of grades from A through B for last quarter. I was hoping to pull off an A- in Admin Law, too, since it is indeed annoying to see grades involving Bs on my transcript. Ah well, maybe ( Read more... )

Holy shit, I pulled an A- in Evidence. That exam was one of the hardest exams I've had in law school, I'd say. Given the professor, it's basically an A. This makes me feel much better about clerking, too, as I'm sure the Federal Rules of Evidence will be a major part of my job, and I was like "oh shit I so botched that exam, I do not know Evidence ( Read more... )
