The UW Law School commencement ceremony for the Class of 2009 is this Sunday at 2:30 PM Pacific. It's at Meany Hall on the UW campus. $82 must be a new record for how much I've ever paid for a concert ticket. But Leonard Cohen in Los Angeles caused me to hesitate not at all.

Dava Sobel, popular science writer and author of Longitude, will be giving a lecture at the UW TONIGHT at 6:30 in Kane Hall, room 130, on the UW campus. Admission is free. I'm gonna make it if possible - Longitude was a very fun, accessible book, and I actually gave the big, illustrated version to my uncle for Christmas.
