5K in 29:11 last night, which is 1:43 faster than the last time I ran, a week ago. I thought I was gonna puke for sure. I think I'm not going to challenge that PB too hard for now.
5K last night in 30:54, 4 seconds faster than Sunday's time. And I drank water later, so I avoided the pounding headache and nausea that came later on Sunday

I mapped out a jogging route that had me skirting the City College and running down to the Huntington Botanical Gardens, but what looked on the Google map like a route right into the trails through the gardens proved to be a gated private road. The gardens are surrounded by a wall of iron, brick, and high greenery that hints at what lies within.

Running the Race Judicata 5K in Seward Park in the rain = Seattle hazing ritual. 33:50, including roughly a minute where I had to stop to take off my jacket and roll up my sleeves. (It's cold and raining! But I'm running! Temperature regulation! Argh!) Aside from that pause, though, I ran, no walking. The time sounds about right. One of these days
