I'm goin' down by the river where it's warm and green
I'm gonna have a drinkbeignet
And walkrun around
I got a lot to think about
...Like training for the New Orleans Rock'n'Roll Half-Marathon, February 13, 2011.
I'm going. thewronghands is going. jessekornblum is going. Some of you are maybe also going (canyonwren!). Who else wants to come? I am already planning to wear running gear in a Puerto Rico flag pattern, and you know you want to see that. [grin]
I registered. I'm flying out Saturday morning, arriving right around noon (perfect for CONSUMING MASS QUANTITIES upon arrival). I will fly back Monday. Ergo, I'd love to share lodging for Saturday and Sunday nights.
This'll be the first time that I'll have been to NOLA for something other than volunteering. Weird. Wonder if we can fit some service work in while we're there...
