Walter had two packages waiting for him today. He'd picked them up from wherever one does that and carried them back to his room in the aftermoon after work. After getting back from his handwavy trip to the mainland, Walter just took a nap to let the drops the opthalmologist had put in his eyes wear off. Everything was too glaringly bright with his pupils dilated for him to want to go to the job fair or hang out outside. There was no other way to put it. Walter had had a shit day. He had told Nadia things she couldn't have wanted to hear, fought with Seras, heard truths from Alfred he wasn't supposed to know, and capped it with probably losing his girlfriend.

After waking up with Nadia and the uncomfortable discussion that had followed, Walter took Pup outside to get some fresh air and try to clear his head, despite the wet weather. He was back to tossing the fanged frisbee for Pup and watching the little hound yap and chase it.
