After it started to rain, Walter headed inside to catch up on writing down his observations of his classes, his teachers, and his fellow students.

Which was why he was spending a lot of time with his eyes closed thinking about what he could have done to make the fight in Poland go differently, what signs he might have missed about the werewolf, whether he could find a good way to convince himself that they'd actually fulfilled their mission, whether his left eye was ever going to be the same again, and quite a lot about a certain vampire, a certain Argentine, and what, if anything, he wanted to do about either of them.
He was entirely interruptable.
