Walter came in after work and immediately showered the restaurant smell away. Now he's sitting on his bed with his homework, his journal, and Pup. It has been far too long since he had last updated it.

Yesterday had been better than good. It had been bloody brilliant. Nadia had gotten a lot of his friends involved and sent him all over the island for his birthday surprises.

After meeting his little brother and talking to some others on the lawn, Walter returned to his room to find Al and bring him over to Nadia's room.

"I cut it out very cleanly, so I don't think it should be much trouble to fix it," Walter said, pushing the door open and retrieving the piece in question to hand to Al.

Walter was up early to try to work out printing some of the pictures he'd taken with his new camera and to update his journal before he had to go attend detention with Alfred. After arguing with Nadia about Alfred at the fashion show, he was feeling even more tense about the detention than he might have been before.

Walter was once again in his room, on his bed, with his hellpuppy, shirtless, with the door open, reading his book on cryptography, and scratching notes in his journal. He might be getting a handle on this code thing. Not that an experienced person couldn't break his code in a few minutes, but give him time.

He was 100% interruptable.

Walter had gotten back from work, stripped off his shirt and tie, and flopped into bed with Pup and his book on cryptography and his journal. Walter unlocked the door to his room and tried not to step on Pup as the hellpuppy scampered under his feet and into the room.

"Right, you," he said to Nadia. "You need some water before I put you to bed."

There was no other way to put it. Walter had had a shit day. He had told Nadia things she couldn't have wanted to hear, fought with Seras, heard truths from Alfred he wasn't supposed to know, and capped it with probably losing his girlfriend.
