I posted about this earlier - I need to grab a taxi from the hotel to a local train station. I was warned not to use the taxis that the hotel will call because they are overcharging and/or will call a 'car service' (not a taxi service)??? (vague memories here).  That I should 'find another local taxi" and call them direct.

Every year on the Monday morning after VividCon (*late* Monday morning), there has been an unofficial gathering at Walker Brothers Pancake House for those congoers who are still in Chicago. Just a note that there is considerable construction on I-90/94 this summer, so if you're driving, you may want to plan accordingly.
