The name Mimir was taken (probably by some RPer I'd mocked in the past, hence the karma) and I couldn't find another Old Norse name I liked. So I decided to shop around for something equally exotic.

Today was a great first day. I like all the people I'm working with and I got a good group of kids. I have the older ones in the morning (a first) and the younger ones in the afternoon. Work starts Monday. We got our attendance lists yesterday and I don't have anyone too terrible in my first class. There's one girl with a bit of an authority problem and a pair of brothers that a lot of other counselors can't stand, but they've never given me and particular trouble beyond what other kids do, so it shouldn't be too bad ( Read more... )
