I've been really enjoying reading all the fan reports from Yamapi's solo cons, since by all accounts they sound absolutely amazing. Does anyone know if it's possible to play rmvb files with srt subs on a Mac?

MPlayer shows no video, while RealPlayer shows video but no subs. I guess I'll have to go to viikii after all for Black & White :P...Did some googling, and the problem is solved now. I had to install some additional codecs for MPlayer, but now I've got subs and picture ( Read more... )

Looks like the Hanadan format never fails to deliver. I just watched the first episode of the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango with partial subs on viikii, and it looks great!!!

Lessee how my first attempt at torrents will work out... At least it looks to be a lot slower than ddls :P. Then again it's a very new file, so there are probably not a lot of seeders for it yet.

ETA: It also looks like I finally figured out how to automatically add the music.

For a while today I felt rich, since I got my normal paycheck plus all the accumulated holiday pay which came into a very nice amount all in all.

Heeee! I made a real find today, since I noticed that my neighbourhood supermarket has for sale cheap 2 Gb USB sticks which are compatible with USB 1.1 and Mac OS 9.x! Yay! Previously, I only had a 512 Mb USB stick, which is good for some random text files, etc. but not for anything larger ( Read more... )
