(no subject)
For a while today I felt rich, since I got my normal paycheck plus all the accumulated holiday pay which came into a very nice amount all in all.
Then I did some shopping...

Then I got this big box and a shopping bag full of goodies...

Heeee!!!!! New computer!!!! At last!!!!
For most of this afternoon/evening I've been setting all the preferences to the way I like them, downloading various programs I want, etc. Also installing the programs I bought with the computer (MS Office: Home, Norton Antivirus).
I've already discovered that I don't like the keyboard that much. It feels a bit too soft for me, but I guess I'll try it for a while before getting a new one.
The screen still feels HUGE compared to my old 15" screen. I guess I need to find new wallies for this since all my old ones would be too small :D.
I haven't even tried yet moving the files from my old computer to this. I need to get either an Ethernet or a Firewire wire to connect the two computers to each other, since trying to move everything by a USB memory stick would be just too much :P.
I still need to get a new computer table, since the old one is too high, especially with the larger monitor (20") that this new one has. I want one where I can adjust the height of the table so that I can set it just right for me.
ETA: Busily copying files from one computer to another with 2GB memory sticks. Will take some time, but I'm in no rush, since both computers are still completely functional.
