Still cannot get out of the bed, either.  (This is fast becoming a problem.) The last couple of weeks have been imposing varying degrees of hellishness on me, but they are over, at least, and it's Friday.   The weather's quite cold now, and the feel of Christmas (already?) is seemingly everywhere, which vaguely cheers me up.  I'll get back to being more fandomy pretty soon, or so I hope.

Ran out of milk this morning.  This is a problem in so many ways but is totally made worse by the fact today is Thanksgiving (alas, the life of a Canadian) and stores are closed.   Do I risk running out to the closest Starbucks?  It may or may not be open.  This is a serious dilemma (those who've seen me without my coffee/tea in the morning could ( Read more... )

On top of everything else that's been happening in the last couple of weeks, now I have an indoor plumbing issue.  The hot water wouldn't work this morning.  Which I found out in the middle of the shower.

I mean, c'mon.   Enough already.  Please please please please give me a break.
