Tonight we had roasted tomato, chilli and caper pasta and made scones for dessert. The pic doesn't show them with jam and 'cream' inside, but that's what we had. Both recipes were good so I thought I'd share. Oh, and I had raw spinach salad with the pasta which isn't shown either. I pretty much can't move now, but it was worth it!

My roommate Joni has been on a scone kick and decided to modify the Vegan with a Vengeance recipe to make some savory vegan scones. They turned out so amazingly fantastic that I just had to share.

so, i've been meaning to try out making scones with this hazelnut oil me & my roomies have lying around... i'd already run to the store and had totally forgotten about vinegar. i was drinking a mimosa, so hence, hazelnut champagne scones were born! and they're amazing! the dough is, too. hah ( Read more... )
