Still working lots, like, halfway through lunch, plus an hour of overtime, which is a lot for me. USCIS and the Department of Labor had to go and get all fucking efficient all of a sudden, right, so now our office is fucked.

I'm usually not much for Galliano- I find his designs bleak and unflattering, for the most part- but this particular show was like a Circus of Awesome. I made yakiimo (roasted sweet potato) last night in the little tiny gas grill in my stove. It took like an hour, but they were hella tasty. So today is a makeup holiday for last Saturday, which was a middle schooler visit day, only I took it off to go to Seya Nishi's school festival and see the drama club perform, so I'm here today and no one else is. Yay. I went out and had lunch, and there was sashimi, and conversation in Japanese, and it ate up at least two hours of my utterly empty workday. Plus now I don't have to think about what's for dinner since I still have the two onigiri I brought for lunch. Now I think I shall pop in The Postal Service and nap until 5 or so.
