Hey everyone! I need to borrow some knowledge from your big brains.

I'm working on my book and I need some good monsters for one scene, but I'm not sure what. The three biggest qualifications are that they are:

A: Strictly nocturnal, aka afraid of/can't function/will die in sunlight. Preferably not humanoid.

Ok, I know I'm posting a lot tonight, but

I have the strongest, weirdest desire to write a crossover one-shot with Supernatural and the sitcom Better With You.

I don't even like Better With You, I find it cheap and generally unfunny and unrealistic. But it has Zachariah in it.

So I'm working on this dark modern fantasy novel and I'm looking for other dark modern fantasies for adults. I say for adults because most of the stuff I find that sounds good is actually YA lit. Should I do it? I'm torn.

Pros:

- I have a novel that I'm just starting, and this would be a good kick in the butt to get started on it
- I'm in Peace Corps, so I generally have a lot of free time
- I write a lot anyway
- this could help me get it completed faster
- I would feel pretty damn proud of myself if I did complete it

Cons:
