In a incident that is strangely familiar, I was walking home from work yesterday when I heard a boomer. As I described in the previous entry, a boom is a car with the bass cranked up so loud that you can hear the BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-DA-BOOM from four lanes of traffic away. This video is rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. And yet it somehow manages to exactly capture how I feel about the damn Christmas Shoes song.

I'm sorry, but three years of listening to 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week of non-stop Christmas music for over two months each year has just killed any love I have for 99.9% of Christmas music.

Since Seeqpod is down, I've been listening to Pandora while in the graduate office. I do this for a number of reasons. I can't put my own music on this computer because of disk space and IT regulations. The streaming radio stations have commercials which drive me nuts.
