The bread I baked last week was gone by Tuesday. Which is to say, Miome was so glad to have good tasting bread she could eat that she devoured the loaf. I love my family very much, but I am so glad to have my house back. So very glad. My sister has a English bulldog named Winston. Winston likes to chew on the cardboard boxes that aluminum soft drink cans come in. He is allowed to do this. While doing some digging on my ancestors using Google Books, I came across a record of a court case that cracked me up. The background is as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Ancestor decided to trade some of Mrs. Ancestor's land for a farm that was rented to a tenant. Talked with my mom. Obviously my grandfather is going to have surgery September 9th to remove melanoma that they found on the back of his head. Sigh. I can't tell if it's not that serious, or if it's really serious and my mom just doesn't want to worry me this close to me getting my Master's.

Today I managed to pay for a meal while my mom was visiting. This takes a lot of planning and cunning. My mom believes that if you visit her, she pays for all meals she invites you too.
